The Great White Shark of Bramley

Bramley on the silver screen - In 1935 Twickenham Film studios hired the railway line at Bramley from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on two Sundays to film shots, including a near-collision, for the film 'The Last Journey'.

In the autumn of 1970 West German Television took over the road between Holly Cross and the bridge over the railway. It became the London Road for its production of Wilkie Collins's 'The Woman in White'.
